Das Modul findet Videos ohne Untertitel. Es zeigt einen Hinweis im Bearbeitungsbereich an.

Untertitel sind wichtig für Menschen, die nicht hören können. YouTube-Auto-Untertitel sind oft falsch. Sie sind nicht gut genug. Man braucht eigene `.vtt`-Untertitel oder geprüfte YouTube-Untertitel. Das Modul prüft Videos mit Untertiteln. Videos ohne Untertitel werden als Problem gemeldet.

Seiten mit Videos müssen das Modul haben. Vereine, Coaches, Schulen und E-Learning-Seiten brauchen es. Firmen-Seiten mit Erklärungsvideos oder Interviews sollten es auch nutzen.

Video caption notice

It recognizes videos without subtitles and displays an editorial note in the backend.

What it does

Function in one sentence — and in three sentences

Subtitles are mandatory for deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors. YouTube auto-captions are sufficient from a WCAG perspective. not out — the error rate is too high. Custom `.vtt` captions or controlled YouTube captions are necessary.

The module detects embedded videos and checks if caption tracks are present. Videos without subtitles are marked as an issue in the admin report.
