WhatsApp + Telegram Inbox — true cloud API integration, no chat widget.
DigElite CRM integrates the official WhatsApp Cloud API from Meta and the Telegram Bot — incoming messages land in a central inbox, with a live display of the remaining 24-hour response window for each contact. Stop words like STOP, STOPP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or /stop automatically trigger the status `no_contact`. Meta compliance is built into the plugin as an auto-opt-out feature.
Three features that make everyday sales using WhatsApp/Telegram feasible.
A WhatsApp chat widget on a website is not the same as day-to-day sales via WhatsApp. Initial contact, handling replies, mandatory opt-out – all of this requires structure, not just a chat bubble in the footer.
Central Inbox WhatsApp + Telegram
All incoming messages in one view. Clicking on an entry opens the contact activity history; free text replies are available directly from the CRM.
24-hour window display
WhatsApp's Meta plugin limits free-text replies to 24 hours after the last customer message. The plugin displays the remaining window live for each contact, letting you know whether replies are still allowed.
Automatic opt-out for stopwords
STOP, STOPP, UNBOTT, CANCEL, STOP, /stop — these and other stop words automatically trigger the `no_contact` status. Meta compliance is built into the plugin's behavior.
Orphaned messages end up in a separate inbox view.
If an incoming WhatsApp or Telegram message cannot be assigned to an existing contact (unknown phone number/username), it appears in the "Check Inbox" view. You can then assign it to an existing contact or create a new contact using the dropdown menu. Subsequent messages from this sender will then be automatically assigned correctly.
What potential buyers should ask before purchasing.
Do I need an official WhatsApp Cloud API account?
Yes. The WhatsApp Cloud API is an official Meta offering—free for the first 1,000 conversations per month (as of 2026). You'll need a Business Manager account, a verified phone number, and a system user token. We'll assist with setup during our initial consultation.
What does the 24-hour window mean?
Meta only allows free-text replies on WhatsApp within 24 hours of the customer's last incoming message. Outside of this window, pre-approved message templates must be used. DigElite CRM displays the remaining window for each contact in real time and automatically prevents you from accidentally sending an unauthorized free-text reply.
What does WhatsApp Cloud API cost per message?
The first 1,000 service conversations per month are free. Beyond that, the price is in the low cent range per conversation, depending on the recipient's country (Germany approx. €0.05–€0.10). The costs go directly to Meta—no intermediary fees from DigElite.
Telegram doesn't have a 24-hour window — why use the same system anyway?
Correct — Telegram allows free-text replies at any time. However, it's still useful to have both channels in one inbox: many contacts switch between channels depending on their preference, and the central activity history shows all touchpoints in a timeline.
